Week of June 12

During the week of June 12 my production was able to finish filming our 3rd movie and we need to do is edit the video t make outstanding. We will hopefully finish this film by next week and will be able to get our grade up and be able to get a good GPA. We were able to turn in two film for the evening film festival and hopefully the festival will be as good as the one in school.

Week of June 5th

During the week of June 5th our production company has completed its 2nd film which was a PSA and for our last film we are going to make a parody related to the new trend which is " Charlie Charlie". In our parody, it will be people playing the new trend " Charlie Charlie" and then a ghost perspective that can't be seen by humans. Hopefully we can make this film work and be funny at the same time.

Week May 29th

During the week of may 29th our production group has already planned out both of our films, but we decided that we will film a PSA about suicide. In our movie we will have a man walking down a street with noose around his head and other people ignoring him. We will film on saturday and it shouldn't take long to edit so it we will finish the film by next week hopefully.

Week of May 15th

During the week of May 15th our production crew was able to finish our first film. We have also pitched our 2nd movie idea to MR. Lansdown and we have decided to make a narrative film. Our film will be a narrative about treasuring the people who care about you. We will hopefully start filming this week and finish our movie by the end of this month or earlier.

Week of May 8th

During the week of May 8^th, our production crew should for sure finish our movie during this week because all we need to add is our music. Meanwhile our production crew has decided to make a PSA for our next film. The PSA would be about a kid who gets bad grades and because of that he is unable to get a job, which leads him to live on the streets. Hopefully we can finish this film in a week. 

Week of May 1st

During the week of May 1^st my production was able to film some live action from magnet classes and we were able to complete the filming part. We will eventually finish our documentary for sure by Tuesday an therefore improving my grade. Our next film will be during the AP exams, but luckily our production crew will make a PSA which is smaller so yea were good.

The Week of April 24

During the week of April 24 our production company has almost finished the documentary, but we just need a couple of classroom shots to show the setting of the magnet students and how they work. The rest of the editing is done and all the scenes are arranged in order and hopefully we can finish today. Other than our movie the song  I've been creating is also almost finished, but I need to do a couple more sound effects to make it sound good.

Week of April 17th

During the week of April 17^th, my production company and I have finished filming our interviewers for our documentary. Although we have done filming the people we still have to edit the scenes to make the film interesting. While my crew has been editing the movie, I have been making a song so that we could maybe put it into the film. The song is coming out great, but at the same time its difficult making the notes to make it sound interesting. Overall during this week we have accomplished a lot and we hope to finish our film by next week. 

Week of April 7th

During the week of April 7^th, we were able to gather more people that we can interview which includes my cousin. Also I meanwhile in class have made my own tune using garage band, which I hope we can us in the film if I can finish on time. Also I believe we will be able to finish our movie by next week and we have decided to include another person that was a recent magnet student and ask him why he left if he is willing to do so. Overall our movie should be done by next week if we are able to film at certain times that we all can agree on. 

Week of April 3rd

During the week leading to April 3^rd, our production crew was able to film yhe people we were going to interview which included our peers Alexis and Raydoni. Our documentary talks about the reactions of  seniors due to the magnet program and our questions gave us different results for them both. We filmed in different locations to let the audience view the campus of the school and so they wont get bored with one single setting. Our documentary, we hope, should get different results with the other people we would interview, so that we can hopefully show other kids how the magnet program is.

Week of March 27th

During this week through March 27^th, we have been planning out our documentary about interviewing seniors and finding out there opinion about the magnet program. In my group there are 3 other people who are named Jesus, Damian, and Kenya. We have planned out that we are going to film people we know who are in the magnet program and ask them around 5 questions about the topic. Overall, our goal is to find out whether the students view the magnet program as good or bad for students. 

What Music Means to Me

Music makes me feel happy and joyful when I’m stressed out or when I just need something to relax me 

Problems and Struggles

From what I have witnessed in school there isn’t much that happens here at Bell High School but the ones that catch my attention would be bullying. I myself halve not been bullied, but I have seen bullying before. Bullying at our school isn’t very common, nut it isn’t a myth. Another thing that is a problem in school would have to be the education. Most teachers at our school are outstanding at lecturing their topic, but there are some teachers that don’t really teach us much about the topic, which makes students, have a difficult time at learning basic things that can prevent us to go to college. The last problem at our school would have to be the time that we come to school. School for us starts at 7:30, which for me is bad because we are tired and we don’t get to think much during the earliest periods. Because of that we sometimes aren’t able to learn to the full extent because it’s early in the morning and we aren’t able to think properly. Other than those minor problems, school isn’t as bad. 

The Most Interesting Person in the World

The most interesting person in the world would have to be my cousin Ester because she has gone to study abroad. She went to Japan to learn their language and went not knowing much of the language. She is going to live in Japan for 2 years without any of her family with her which for me is pretty scary because you don’t the area, customs, or language enough to live there freely. On Christmas she came back for a week to tell all of her family members about her journey. She’s told us that she has learned the language better by living among people that speak the language fluently. Also she has told us that there have been many earthquakes over there and noticed that the citizens in Japan don’t fear earthquakes as much because they get them often. Also she told us that the food in Japan is better over there than over here because there is unique goods such as ramen or sushi that can only be tried in Japan to get the full taste. I believe my cousin is the most interesting person that I have met because she has done things that I haven't experienced.

My Anti Drug

There are things that could be considered my anti drug but there are some that stand out the most. One thing that could be considered an anti drug for me would be playing basketball. When I play basketball, I forget about everything and just have fun playing the sport with my friends. Another thing that could be considered an anti drug for me would be playing video games. When I play video games, I just enjoy the virtual reality that we humans cannot achieve because it actually affects our health. Another thing that could be considered an anti drug for me would be my dogs because I enjoy playing with them and they also relieve me of my stress since they are comforting. The last and the most influential anti drug for me would be a good joke because it makes me automatically joyful and no matter what always makes my mind relieve all the stress. 

What I Learned from An Inconvenient Truth

Their were many things that I learned from An Inconvenient Truth, but the one that shocked me the most was the fact that water levels will increase due to the melting of the glaciers causing more water to the oceans. It shocked me when they stated that it would flood places like India and New York. Another thing that I learned was that because of the increase in temperature, it will not only cause weird temperatures, but also expands the size of a tornado. Another thing that I learned was that the United States was one of the biggest contributors to global warming. Although we were notified about the situation, we seem to expand the issue of global warming each and every year. I also discovered that we are causing the extinction of animals because of this issue. For example because of the melting of glaciers in the North Pole, have caused the polar bears to lose land which causes them to swim to the nearest glacier, but unfortunately drown while doing so.
