When I go to college, I want to study about engineering so I can become a mechanical engineer and help the world out with some of its problems so that it can become a safer place. Just like in video, I want to show the same compassion he did towards the world’s problem and not look away from the issue. Once I obtain the intellect I need to become an engineer, I will use it to help others just like how other people have helped me become the way I am today. I believe that the only way for society to improve itself is by having compassion towards people’s problems instead of waiting for a solution to appear into our lives. I believe that solutions don’t appear out of thin air but instead we make our own solutions to a problem with the knowledge and compassion we have towards others.

In the future I believe that everyone would be equal and that everyone will have a job. I also believe that in the future we would have robots that would be mostly be used in the medical field so that they have a better chance to help out the sick people. I believe that later on in the future, we humans would have found a cure to all the worst diseases and viruses such as cancer or Ebola. I also believe that we will have more improvements on technology such as flying cars that don’t run on gas or any other toxic fuels that affect our atmosphere. I also believe that in the future we would have teleportation devises instead of planes to take us to other countries. In the future, I believe that they would solve the problem of global warming so that we can have normal temperatures instead of having more broken records everyday.

There have been many moments in which I have laughed so hard that I couldn’t stop laughing, but one of the moments that made me laugh the most is when my cousin got hit in the face with a soccer ball. That was the funniest moment because when we were playing soccer in the park with my relatives from my dad’s side, we were really into the game a lot that we would get hurt many times. Everyone was getting hit by the ball in areas such as arms, chest, and backs, but the funniest moment was when my cousin got hit in the face with a ball. At that moment everyone who was playing stopped and laughed at my cousin. At the same time we also went to see if he was seriously injured. It was so funny that when I went home I still laughed about it and everyday we play soccer with our relatives, I tell my cousin to pay attention to the ball at all times.

The movie Modern Times by Chaplin was a movie that had all the characteristics it needed to have such as comedy, plot, climax and it was suspenseful. Since the movie was made in 1936 I would have expected it to be a more modern movie with sound but even though it was a movie without sound and color, it was a great movie. I liked how the movie pertained to that era’s problems and how even though their life was difficult, they would never give up. I liked how the ending wasn’t a depressing ending but instead an ending in which actually gave me a lesson I should use throughout the future. The intro was also good due to Chaplin relating workers to sheep, which shows that we are like other creatures in the world. Overall this movie helped me change my perspective on black and white movies that also contain no sound.
